Mr. Nyarenchi Calvin Mbera has been a driver at the Institute for Development Studies since 2019 but has been with the University of Nairobi 2012. His key duties include handling deliveries to various destinations, transportation of staff to the filed during research activities, and avail the vehicle in time for any official duties assigned.
His responsibilities include ensuring that the vehicle is clean and well maintained at all times. He also facilitates mechanical repairs. Mr. Nyarenchi keeps proper and updated vehicle records and facilitates stickers such as insurance and inspection certificates as per the NTSA rules and regulations. While on duty, he ensure safety to clients and other road users.
