IDS Staff engage in various Corporate Social Responsibility & Environment Conservation Activities, some of which are listed below:

  1. Prof.  Rosemary Atieno
  • Chair, Board of Management St. Mary's Lwak Girls High School.
  1. Dr Paul Kamau
  • Member, African Union Commission for Scientific, Technical and Research (AU- ASRIC) Working Group to study the Socio-Economic Impacts of COVID-19 Pandemic in Africa 2020 to date.
  • Member, Retirement Benefits Authority – Research Panel   2020 to date
  • Council Member, Sustainable Development Solutions Network (SDSN – Kenya).2020 to date.
  • Church Secretary & PCC Member   – ACK St. Joseph of Arimathea Church, Nairobi.2012 – 2019.
  • Member Research Panel, Kenya Institute of Curriculum Development (KICD). The research panel is tasked with quality assurance of all KICD research projects,  2010 to date
  • Member, University of Nairobi Alumni Association (UoNAA) – Bronze Membership 2006 to date.
  • Chairman - IDSSWA (IDS Staff Welfare Association) - 2018 to date.

 

  1. Dr Radha Upadhyaya
  • Member of the Programme Investment Committee (Board) – 2013 – current;
  • FSD Kenya is an independent Trust established to support the development of inclusive financial markets in Kenya. Provide strategic guidance to FSD Kenya on its programmes.
  • Dr Radha Upadhyaya, Jayant J. Ruparel Memorial Foundation
  • Trustee of a private foundation that educates 200 children annually throughout Kenya. 

 

  1. Dr Anne Kamau
  • Convener, Socially Just Public Transport Working; group 2019- to date
  • Engagement with the women in informal employment, globalising and organizing and the Kenya National Alliance of Market and Street vendors (KENASVIT)- 2019- to date
