The JICA Chair Program is an initiative geared to promote development experiences learning from the initiatives of Japan over time. Japan is one of the “non-Western” countries which emerged economically and democratically while conserving its culture and tradition. This offers great valuable lessons to partner countries in their quest to achieve modernization and in a similar manner, Japan equally learns from the ongoing interventions and efforts of partner countries.
