The Institute for Development Studies was pleased to have Paschalin Basil as one of the speakers in the  "Sustainable Financing for Development in the Majority World" Conference held at the American University in Cairo. Speaking before 200 attendees, Basil contributed in depth on Sustainable financing in the non-profit sector to create dignified and fulfilling work and opportunities for young people in Africa.
Based on data from a recently completed survey, Basil spoke on how the non-profit organisations in Kenya are contributing to dignified and fulfilling work opportunities for young people. This was part of the highly interactive sessions that culminated into solutions that can support practitioners and policymakers across sectors.
