Trained in public health with a doctoral degree in medical anthropology I have worked as a regional advisor on community malaria control for the World Health Organization and an International Non-Governmental Organization. I have also participated in project reviews and evaluations for various organizations on malaria, social development and poverty. I have experience in proposal writing, research and report writing. I would describe myself as an accomplished research scientist with over 20 years support to various social development and health programmes.

My areas of specialisation are Medical Anthropology; and Malaria, Gender and Poverty.
