Counselling and Mentorship
IDS has in place a mentoring program for both its PhD students and MDEV students. For PhD students, senior colleagues invite them to attend the MDEV classes. For MDEV students, especially those who are on the University of Nairobi or IDS project-related scholarship, they are involved in helping the IDS Research Seminars Committee in preparing for the IDS seminars. They are also actively involved in the project’s fieldwork and other related responsibilities.
