Emeritus Prof. Amb. Judith Mbula Bahemuka, a teacher, researcher, diplomat, governor and an eminent person of Africa symbolises what Sustainable Development Goals calls for – being an all-round scholar, what some refer to in the 21^st century as “pracademics” - with links that go beyond academic scholarship, embracing policy, governance and sustainable development. This is the emeritus whose academic and development work the University of Nairobi through the UNESCO UNITWIN, headed by Prof. Winnie Mitullah and the Institute for Development Studies (IDS) headed by Prof. Karuti Kanyinga honoured by convening a virtual forum on the 29^th April, 2021 from 3 - 5.30 PM EAT.
