AMID Holds 2-day Training Workshop
AMID is a collaborative training and research programme between Radboud University in the Netherlands, and the Institute for Development Studies (IDS), University of Nairobi. The trainees from the AMID Young Professional Programme graduate with a Master’s degree from the Radboud University after one year. For more information, visit www.rcsw.nl/amid
The programme is delivered 75 % online and 25% face to face.
On April 25-26, 2024 the program held its second face-to-face training for the 2024 cohort at the University of Nairobi, main campus.
This year the programme has 15 trainees from Kenya and the region (Africa) drawn from 14 partner organisations. The organisations participating this year include Partner Africa, ACT!Kenya, Network for Adolescent and Youth Africa (NAYA), Global Woman Network, Victoria Friendly Montessori, Tunafasi, Cheshire Disability Services Kenya (CDSK), Kenya Red Cross, Katiba Institute, Women Environmental Programme (WEP), International Livestock Research Institute (ILRI), AMREF Health Africa, Palladium, Europe B.V. TEKAN, Peace Desk, (Kerk in Actie NL).
