The Institute for Development Studies, University of Nairobi, will host its next bi-monthly seminar on November 30, 2019 at the University of Nairobi Towers, from 2pm.

The seminar, “Archiving Kenya’s Past and Futures: Stewardship and Care of Research Data”, will be presented  by Angela Okune, a doctoral candidate in the Anthropology Department at the University of California. Okune studies data practices and infrastructures of research groups working in and on Nairobi, Kenya, in order to explore broader questions of equity, knowledge production and socio-economic development in Africa.

The IDS bi-monthly seminars are coordinated by Dr Radha Upadhyaya, a Research Fellow at the Institute.
