The Afrobarometer Round 7 Survey will inform a seminar on Gender inclusion in development at the International institute of Social Studies (ISS) in The Hague, Netherlands.
IDS Associate Research Professor Winnie Mitullah will make the presentation on 11April 2017. The seminar is part of ISS’s Development Research Seminar (DRS) Series: Autumn/Winter 2016/2017.
ISS is an international graduate school of policy-oriented critical social science. It brings together students and teachers from the Global South and the North in a European environment. Established in 1952 as the International Institute of Social Studies by Dutch universities and the Netherlands Ministry of Education it does research, teaching and public service in the field of development studies and international cooperation.
Afrobarometer is an independent, non-partisan research project that measures social, political and economic atmosphere in Africa. It is managed by a network comprising Centre for Democratic Development (CDD), Ghana; Institute for Empirical Research in Political Economy (IREEP), Benin; Institute for Democracy in South Africa (IDASA), South Africa and IDS, University of Nairobi.
